It is around that time of year again when festival line ups are slowly announced. Many festivals take place up and down the UK during the summer period.
These festivals include the likes of T in the Park, V Festival and Glastonbury. However, one festival in particular has a more urban focus compared to others. This is Wireless festival.
Last year, the three day event had a variety of artists take to the stage including headliner Drake, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, J Cole and UK artists Rita Ora and Jessie J. Many said that this was one of the best lineups since the festival first launched in 2005.
Regardless of the rain last July, it did not stop people coming out to one of the biggest festivals held in Hyde Park. The atmosphere was one to remember especially during Drake’s set when he unexpectedly brought Nicki Minaj back out to the stage to perform the track they have together – ‘Make Me Proud.’
Tomorrow morning at 8am, @WirelessFest will be announcing who will be taking to the stage this July at the new venue of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park via their Twitter page.
